From Property Care Association…

‘A property care company based in Witney is celebrating after an employee was named Apprentice of the Year by national trade body, the Property Care Association (PCA).

Lee Litton of Property Conservation Services was recognised at the PCA’s Property Care Awards Apprentice of the Year after achieving the highest marks in the UK among students undertaking PCA Apprenticeship training in damp and timber.

Training experts at the trade body, said: “Lee is a prime example of how beneficial the apprenticeship can be when students apply themselves.

“Lee was one of the least experienced members of the group and was rather tentative at the beginning, but he gained in confidence every week, and by the end of the course, he was flourishing.

“He is a lovely man who did himself and the PCA proud, and he fully deserves the recognition and accolades that will come his way after being nominated apprentice of the year.”

Lee received his award from PCA Chief Executive Sarah Garry and Michael Vernon on behalf of category sponsor CITB.

More than 20 accolades were presented during the Property Care Awards, marking achievements across training, staff development and best practice.

PCA Chief Executive Sarah Garry hosted the event. She said: “The awards showcase the best of the best in the sector and celebrate the work of both new and long-established members as well as shining a spotlight on the rising stars of the industry.

“I congratulate Lee on the dedication, skill and professionalism that is recognised with this award.”

The Property Care Awards were presented at a special dinner following the Property Care and Structural Waterproofing Conferences hosted by the PCA at Telford International Centre.’
